Consulting Hermes ("Consulting Hermes," "we," "us," or "our") operates consultinghermes.com and provides Iris, an AI phone agent, to Canadian businesses. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website and to our SMS/text-message program.
Information we collect
- Information you give us directly. When you contact us, book a demo, or complete a live demo call with Iris, we may collect your name, business name, email address, and phone number.
- Demo call information. When you complete a demo call, we collect the mobile phone number you provide, the context of that call (the business type and use case you discussed), and the fact that you verbally consented to receive follow-up text messages.
- Website information. We collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, through cookies and similar technologies, to operate and improve the site.
SMS / mobile communications
This section describes our text-messaging program specifically.
- What we collect via SMS opt-in. When you opt in during a demo call, we collect your name, your mobile phone number, and the context of your demo call. We use this only to send you the follow-up messages described below.
- How you opt in. Opt-in is express and verbal: during a live demo call with Iris, you provide your mobile number and agree to receive follow-up text messages from Consulting Hermes.
- What we send. Messages inviting you to book a walkthrough of Iris, and related follow-ups about your demo. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Opt-out and help. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message; you will receive one confirmation and no further messages. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at the details below.
How we use your information
We use your information to respond to enquiries, provide and set up the Iris service, send the SMS follow-ups you opted into, operate and secure our website, and meet legal and regulatory obligations.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate our business and messaging program (for example, our telephony and messaging platform), and only to the extent needed to provide the service, or where required by law. As stated above, mobile opt-in data and SMS consent are never shared with or sold to third parties for marketing purposes.
Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
Your choices and rights
